The Ready For Life (RFL) Summer Living Program is a three week living and learning opportunity located in Grand Rapids, MI which offers individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 an opportunity to live in a supported living environment to prepare them for the next step of their independent living journey.

Individuals in the program will have several opportunities to work on the following life skills: cooking, meal planning, household management, healthy routines, time management, roommate relationships, budgeting, community transportation, community awareness.

Individuals who participate in the program will live in a shared fully furnished apartment for three weeks (including two weekends) with full-time staff support.  Programming will be provided by trained staff to help individuals learn the skills they need to live independently.

The cost of the program includes rent, utilities, food, programming, staff support, apartment amenities and transportation.
